Large holed telephone tokens were in use from 1953 until their replacement in 1963. The third variety with the large number 8 above the dial block on its obverse was probably produced in 1960, the '8' representing its price in Agorot (in that year the Agora replaced the Pruta, 10 Pruta becoming 1 Agora).
