The coin depicts on its obverse a Peace Dove with an olive branch in its beak, drawn by Pablo Picasso, whose signature appears below. The Arabic word SALAAM is flanked by SHALOM in Hebrew and PEACE in English. The mintmark JL (initials of Joseph Lang, the US designer) appears on the left.

The coin's reverse shows the Coat of Arms of the Palestinian Authority. On the left is the word PATTERN in Arabic, and on the right ESSAI. The Arabic text near the top rim, as well at the base of the coat of arms reads: STATE OF PALESTINE. The year 1431 AH in Arabic numerals corresponds with the Gregorian year 2010.

This coin (previously issued in 2010 AD / 1431 AH in varying sizes and alloys) depicts on its obverse a Peace Dove with an olive branch in its beak, drawn by Pablo Picasso, whose signature appears below. The Arabic word SALAAM is flanked by SHALOM in Hebrew and PEACE in English. A significant error is the missing digit 5 from the coin's obverse.

The coin's reverse shows the Coat of Arms of the Palestinian Authority. The Arabic text near the top rim, as well at the base of the coat of arms reads: STATE OF PALESTINE. The year 1435 AH in Arabic numerals corresponds with the Gregorian year 2014.

The coin depicts on its obverse the Dome of the Rock, the octagon-shaped, gold-domed mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The dome is flanked by the words PATTERN in Arabic and ESSAI in Latin characters. Below the structure are the words JERUSALEM and AL-QUDS (Jerusalem in Arabic). The top circumference reads DOME OF THE ROCK and MASJID QUBBET ES_SAHRA (Mosque of the Dome of the Rock). On the bottom circumference is the face value in Arabic and English. At the bottom, within a cartwheel-shaped symbol, is the mintmark JL (initials of Joseph Lang, the US designer).

The coin's reverse shows the Coat of Arms of the Palestinian Authority. The Arabic text near the top rim, as well at the base of the coat of arms reads: STATE OF PALESTINE. The year 1435 AH in Arabic numerals corresponds with the Gregorian year 2014.
